Your images stay on your device
Your browser builds the PDF from your photos on your own computer or phone. They aren’t sent to Oppermind, so photos of receipts for a tax claim or a scanned passport page stay with you. Questions
Which image types can I add?
JPG and PNG. Some phones save photos as HEIC, which this tool can’t read. Export or share the photo as a JPG first, or set the camera to save JPGs.
Will sideways phone photos come out the right way up?
Yes. Phones often store a photo sideways with a note saying which way is up. The tool reads that note in JPGs and turns each photo to match, so the PDF looks like the photo does on your phone.
Does it reduce the quality of my photos?
Usually not. JPGs go into the PDF as they are, without being compressed again, so the PDF ends up about the size of the photos added together. PNGs are stored with lossless compression. The exception is an unusual file that can’t be placed directly. That one is redrawn at its full size and saved as a high-quality JPG, which can lose a little detail.
Which page size should I choose?
Fit to image makes each page the shape of its photo, which suits sharing on screen. Pick A4 or Letter if the PDF will be printed or sent as a form, and each image is scaled to fit the page inside the margin you choose.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser builds the PDF on your own device. Oppermind’s servers never receive the images.
