Why your files don’t leave your device
Many online PDF tools upload your file to a server, do the work there, and send it back. With the free tools here, your browser reads the PDF and makes the new file on your own computer or phone, so the documents you work on never pass through Oppermind.
The tools marked Free account run in the Oppermind workspace instead. Compress, OCR, password protection and the AI tools work on our servers, so your file is sent to Oppermind and you sign in first. AI use counts toward your plan’s usage allowance, and a summary or answer can miss or misread something, so check it against the PDF.
