How to split a PDF

The split happens on your device
Your browser does the splitting. It reads the PDF and writes each new file on your own computer or phone, so when you pull one month out of a year of bank statements, none of it passes through Oppermind. The page keeps no copy of your file after you close the tab. Analytics on this page run only if you allow them, as our privacy policy explains.

Is splitting PDFs here free?
Yes, with no sign-up or card. The files you download carry no watermark.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the PDF and builds the new files on your own device. Oppermind’s servers never receive it.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate them with commas and use a hyphen for a run of pages. 1-3, 4, 8-10 gives three PDFs: pages 1 to 3, page 4 on its own, and pages 8 to 10. A page can appear in more than one range.
What carries over into the new files?
Each page keeps its text, images and comments, and links to websites keep working. Bookmarks don’t carry over, a link that jumps to a page you left out goes nowhere, and form fields may stop being fillable.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Not here. Open it with the password, save a copy without one, then split that copy.
