What each lesson covers
Brief the assistant on your business and where you post, then read the plan that opens in the Content Calendar pane.
This course uses the Content Calendar pane in the desktop workspace on a computer. On the phone the same plan shows up as a card inside the chat, with its views and buttons but no pane or toolbar. Tell the assistant the business, the platforms, how many posts a week, the goal and the start date. Oppermind picks the posts, usually between 7 and 30, gives each a date, platform, post type, topic, caption and hashtags, and groups them under a few content pillars. If a plan can't be made, the reply asks for your brand and platforms instead. The coloured bar at the top reads Content calendar, then the brand, post count and a day count. Chips below show the brand, platforms, posts per week and goal, and a coloured dot names each pillar. The plan saves itself as soon as it opens, and Saved shows in the toolbar for a few seconds. If a save fails, press Save in the toolbar or right-click menu to try again.
Practice. Ask for a calendar for a business you know, with the platforms, posts per week, goal and a start date. When the pane opens, check the bar, the chips and the pillar names against what you asked for.
Make a content calendar for Little Fern Florist, a florist in Newcastle, on Instagram and Facebook. 3 posts a week for 4 weeks starting Monday 2 November. Goal: fill the December wreath workshops. Mia runs the shop and Tom takes the photos.
Use the Calendar grid to see when posts go out and List view to read topics, dates and post types.
Calendar view is a Monday to Sunday grid covering the plan's weeks, up to 26 of them. Each cell shows its date, with the month added on the first cell and on the 1st of each month. A post is a small chip with the first two letters of its platform, so In is Instagram and Fa is Facebook. Hover over a chip to see its topic, or click it to open the post under the grid. If a post has no date the grid can use, it sits below the grid under Not on the grid (no usable date):. List view has one row per post, with the topic, platform, day, date and post type, and a violet media tag on posts that come with an AI prompt or a graphic. Click a row and its details open below the list, with the pillar, the caption and hashtags, Visual direction:, AI image prompt: and a Suggested search: line. You can read these fields but not type into them.
Practice. Hover over three chips in Calendar view to read their topics, then switch to List and open the post you would most like to change.
Switch to List and click Last spots for 5 December.
Ask chat to change the open plan and check the version that comes back, or use the buttons under the plan to send a ready-made request.
You can't type into a post, add one or delete one in the pane, so changes go through chat. With the plan open, name the post by its date or topic and say what should change. Oppermind reads the current plan and is asked to change only that, keeping the other posts, their dates and saved pictures or clips. If Oppermind treats it as a change, the reply starts Updated your content calendar for, with the brand and version number, and the pane shows that version as its own saved entry. Read it through, because the model can change more than you asked. Undo steps back to the version before and Redo returns, until you reload or open another calendar. A reply starting Here's your content calendar means a fresh plan, and the earlier one stays saved. Under the plan, Rewrite all for LinkedIn and Add more posts ask for a rework, Generate next 30 days asks for a follow-on calendar, and Export calendar asks chat for a spreadsheet.
Practice. Ask for one post to move to another day and another to change type. Press Undo to see the version before, then Redo to come back.
Make the Monday 9 November post an Instagram story instead of a Facebook poll, and keep the question about morning or evening workshops.
Generate or find an image for one post, and make a short AI video for a reel or story.
A post's media buttons sit under its prompts. Generate image (this post) draws a picture from the post's AI image prompt and shows it under Generated. Find images searches the web with the post's search phrase and opens Image results, and clicking a picture there adds it as the Reference image. Find videos does the same for clips, where Use this video adds a Reference video (search): link. Copy image prompt and Copy video prompt copy the prompt without a message. Reels, stories and video posts also get an AI video block. Generate AI video for this day asks for one 8-second clip, upright for reels and stories, starting from the post's picture if it has one. It often takes a minute or two, and nothing is made for the other posts. Press Save in the toolbar afterwards, or the picture or clip isn't kept with the saved plan. Open in design chat sends a brief for the post to chat, and the reply depends on how Oppermind reads it.
Practice. Open a reel in your plan and find a reference picture for it. Make the AI video from that picture, then press Save and reopen the plan from the folder icon to check both were kept.
Open Wreath workshop dates are out, press Find images, click a photo of a native wreath, then press Generate AI video for this day.
Export the posts as a CSV file or a PDF, or copy them as text, for the people who will publish them.
Export CSV, the second icon on the calendar's own bar, downloads content-calendar.csv with each post's date, day, platform, topic, type, caption, AI prompts and search phrases, with each caption on one line. The hashtags, pillars, visual direction and graphics are left out. Copy calendar puts a plain-text version on the clipboard with the hashtags, and shows no message when it's done. Pictures and clips you added go in neither. Export / Download in the toolbar, or Export PDF on the right-click menu, opens a print window of whatever the pane shows at that moment, so switch to List first, then save a PDF from your browser's print dialog. Share passes on the plan's name and goal with the address of your workspace, which doesn't give anyone else a copy of the plan. Nothing in the Content Calendar posts to Instagram or Facebook for you, so someone still publishes each post from the account it was planned for.
Practice. Download the CSV and open it in a spreadsheet, then save a PDF from List view and compare what each file holds.
Switch to List, press Export / Download and save the PDF for Tom. Then press the Export CSV icon.
Bring back an earlier version from your saved calendars, or open a CSV file as a new plan.
The folder icon, Open a saved calendar, or Open existing… on the right-click menu, lists your saved calendars in Open content calendar, last saved first. Each rework is its own entry under the same name, with a line such as Saved 29 Oct 2026, 9:52 am · Version 2 · Starts 2 Nov 2026 · 12 posts. A calendar made in the phone chat joins the list once you open it in the desktop pane. Import CSV or JSON… on the right-click menu, or Import file in the toolbar, reads a CSV laid out like the Export CSV file, or a JSON file with a posts list. The plan opens as a new calendar named after the file and saves itself. A CSV brings back each post's date, platform, topic, type, caption, prompts and search phrases, not the brand, goal, pillars, hashtags, visual direction or graphics. Keep dates in the YYYY-MM-DD form the export writes, or the grid can't place those posts by date. Files over 2 MB are refused.
Practice. Reopen the first version of your plan from the folder icon. Then export a CSV, change one caption in a spreadsheet, keep the dates as they are and bring the file back with Import CSV or JSON….
Right-click the grid, choose Import CSV or JSON… and pick content-calendar.csv.
