The Windows app: install it, find your way around the window, This computer and Desktop settings, and how updates arrive.

The window

The top-left button opens the app menu: File, Edit, View, Go and Help. The computer button beside the window controls opens Desktop settings; its screen lights up when this PC's link state changes. Editors can pop out into their own window from the tab rail's open-in-new-tab button. Every download and export shows a bubble at the top right; Show in folder opens Explorer at the file. With Keep running when the window closes on, closing the window leaves the app and a running agent in the system tray.

This computer and Desktop settings

Desktop settings is the app's own page. Computer control: Authorize this computer links the PC to your account, then Start agent, Pause control and Stop agent manage the local agent, and Open computer workspace jumps to the co-pilot. Local MCP servers lists the servers configured in your desktop agent. Startup and windows holds Launch at sign-in and Keep running when the window closes. Appearance follows your workspace theme. Updates and support has Check for updates, Restart and install, and Export diagnostics, which never includes your conversations, files or credentials.

Updates

Updates download on their own. When one is ready, the account menu shows a badge and Desktop settings offers Restart and install. The question is asked inside the app: Restart to install the update? Save your work first; computer control stops during the update. The installer then runs as an update: it keeps your install location and user choice, and its window says Update, not Install. The version shows at the foot of Desktop settings.

What you getThe app closes, the update installs in place, and the app reopens on your workspace.

The app's own questions

Anything the app itself needs to ask opens as a dialog in the app's style: Leave or Quit with unsaved changes, Allow microphone or camera, Log out of Oppermind, Authorize this computer, and About. A popped-out editor with unsaved changes asks Leave this editor? with Keep editing and Close editor. Nothing you answer is sent anywhere; the dialog is the app talking to you.
